VISUAL COMMUNICATION DESIGN, THEORY AND APPLICATIONS.
The difficulties often experienced by novice designers, including students and students of visual communication design,  is when I have to make a concept design. Many people who can create designs using a computer, but they do not understand  about the concept of the design, including determining the colors, fonts, illustrations, and form layout.Begitu also  when designing logos, business cards, advertisements, brochures, posters, and others, performed almost without
a clear concept. They rely more on feeling. They were not wrong. But the reason why clients often demand appears  sepwerti design it. And, the designer must be prepared to explain in a logical based on design rules visual. This Book  communication is not “theory really …” even tend to be on the application of theory. Besides the theory may be  violated.break the rules! but have no concept. creativity and originality comes first. DESAIN KOMUNIKASI VISUAL, TEORI DAN APLIKASI.
Kesulitan yang kerap dialami desainer pemula, termasuk siswa dan mahasiswa desain komunikasi visual, adalah ketika harus membuat konsep desain. Banyak orang yang bisa membuat desain menggunakan komputer, namun mereka tidak paham soal konsep desain, termasuk menentukan warna, huruf, ilustrasi, dan bentuk layout. Begitu pula saat mendesain logo, kartu nama,iklan, brosur, poster, dan lain-lainnya, dilakukan nyaris  tanpa konsep yang jelas. Mereka lebih mengandalkan feeling. Mereka tidak salah. Tetapi klien sering menuntut  reason kenapa muncul desain sepwerti itu. Dan, desainer harus siap memberikan penjelasan yang logis berdasarkan kaidah-kaidah desain komunikasi visual.
Buku ini tidak “teori banget . . .” bahkan cenderung pada penerapan teori. Lagi pula teori boleh dilanggar.  break the rules ! tetapi harus ada konsep. kreativitas dan orisinalitas tetap diutamakan. Buku ini memberikan tips dan metode pengerjaan desain komunikasi visual secara tuntas, disertai contoh-contoh desain. Tujuannya agar dapat dijadikan referensi dan dikembangkan menjadi konsep penciptaan desain.
